DevDec designed and engineered a dual-system internal platform for inventory, prep tracking, and multi-location supply chain distribution for Burrito Boyz restaurants across Ontario. The work launched on 1 May 2026 and is an enterprise web application in the DevDec portfolio.
Problem
Managing complex multi-location restaurant logistics and inventory tracking with legacy, fragmented systems that lacked speed, modern user experience, and real-time synchronization across Ontario storefronts.
Build
DevDec delivered an enterprise internal software suite with two pillars. Easyprep is a custom front- and back-of-house inventory and item prep platform with tracking, adjustments, and worksheets across multiple franchise locations.
The same engagement modernized and migrated the legacy logistics system to a Distribution Hub for supply chain operations throughout Ontario.
Services on the project: custom web application development, enterprise workflow optimization, legacy system modernization, and inventory and supply chain solutions.
Deliverables: the Easyprep front- and back-of-house prep platform, a modernized multi-location distribution hub, and a real-time inventory tracking and adjustment dashboard.
Result
- Deployed across multiple Burrito Boyz locations in Ontario.
- The legacy distribution architecture was replaced with a faster internal tool.
- Front-of-house and back-of-house inventory tracking modules were integrated.
- The public site for the prep platform is easyprep.ca.
